Alive Church Newark was planted out of the Alive multisite church in 2016. The church has grown since then and become part of the furniture in the town of Newark. The church enjoyed significant support from Alive church since its inception, and has been blessed by being part of the multisite model.
By 2021 a new and exciting purpose and vision from God began to come into focus, and it became clear that the church in Newark would need to step out of the Alive multisite church in order to step in to what God has planned for His church.
The leadership in the church in Newark met with the leadership at Alive Church, and there was agreement that the Newark church needed to step into its own calling and destiny.
Alive Church was able to release the Newark church from the multisite model, and send it with a blessing to be available to be used how God in the next season. Assemble Church was born.
We're so blessed by what Alive Church has done in Newark, and by the spirit of sending and blessing that they gave to Assemble Church. We're now super excited to see what God is going to do through His church in Newark, and excited to see what is next for Alive Church and its locations.
God is on the move all across this great country, there is only one Church under Him, and we all play different parts in it.
