We are truly of the view - by experience - that being on team is the best way to feel at home - in any church, including Assemble Church. Our formation is outworked on mission together. Start building relationships and making new friends
- Welcome TeamEveryone loves a nice welcome - apart from introverts. Be part of a team that is dedicated to making sure people are welcomed and taken care of at Assemble Church.
- Venue TeamTurning a school into a church and then back into a school again is no mean feat. It takes dedication, precision and an eye for detail. The people of the Venue Team are awesome - you should join them.
- Hospitality TeamSome say a church should be judged by its coffee (we don’t, we think adherence to spirit-led biblical teaching is more important, but we see their point…) Preparing beverages and nibbles for church is still a big part in making everyone feel at home and welcome.
- Production TeamWe are a production-heavy church. We have lights, mixing desks, video wall, TVs, cameras…all the gear - and one or two people with some idea. This stuff is pointless if it doesn’t help the church to worship Jesus and hear the word. You could help out by putting this equipment to some gospel-centred use.
- Media TeamMedia team captures and distributes what happens on a Sunday. Some people can’t make Sundays, others are serving in Ignite, and there are some that aren’t even from our town that like what we have to say. Be part of capturing and sending it.
- Ignite TeamWhat greater joy is there than teaching the next generation about Jesus? None. The Ignite Team is incredible, dedicated, and so much fun. They get to play games during church - madness. They’re always looking for new team members
- Worship TeamIf you have a musical gifting that you’d like to use to serve the Lord in leading His people in worship - this is the team for you. However, it is a little bit more selective than the other teams, not by skill necessarily, but by position on journey. If you’re interested in joining the worship team, you’ll need to serve in another team for a while first, and be part of a life group.
