Sundays at Assemble combine a life-giving expression of worship with biblical study and hearing from the Word of God. Everyone is welcome at Assemble Church, and we can expect to be challenged and encouraged. There is no dress code or requirements, come as you are.

Our service starts at 10:30am, but we’d recommend you get here early to pick up a tea/coffee and a Welcome Pack, and then find a seat and get settled. There’s a welcome team on the door - and you’ll be welcomed multiple times - we are a friendly bunch of people.

Ignite on Sundays

Our children and young people’s provision is epic, we call it Ignite - because it’s lit, or so we’re told by the kids.

It’s not a baby-sitting service or a youth club, it’s church for young people. Children stay in during worship, and then will be called to go into kids church from the platform about half way through the service. You’ll get them back at the end - no exceptions.

What can I expect when I visit on a Sunday?

You’ll be greeted by friendly faces, modern worship, and explore Bible-based messages you can apply to everyday life. Our services are relaxed, open to everyone, and usually last around 75 minutes.

Do I need to have a church background to attend?

Not at all. Many people who join us are new to church or returning after a long time away. You’re welcome to come with your questions and explore faith with us, together.

Is there anything for children and families?

Yes. We have a vibrant kids church for ages 3–11 with fun, engaging Bible teaching, plus a safe crèche space for little ones. Our team is trained and passionate about supporting families, so you can relax and enjoy the service knowing your children are having a great time too.

How do I join a Life Group or get connected?

Life Groups are the heartbeat of our church. They are a place to find friends, grow in faith, and feel supported. You can sign up on a Sunday, speak to one of our team, or fill in a short form online. We’ll help you find a group that fits your schedule and stage of life.

Can I speak to someone or share a prayer request privately?

Absolutely. Whether you need prayer, support, or simply someone to listen, our pastoral team is here for you. You can speak to someone after any service or use our online prayer request form if you prefer something more private.
